The KAN-therm ultraLINE system is an innovative and unique technical solution on the installation market, intended for both standard internal heating and tap water installations, as well as specialized piping systems, e.g. compressed air.
3 pipe types, 2 fitting materials, 1 sliding sleeve design!
The flexibility of the configuration of the KAN-therm ultraLINE system consists in the possibility of using different types of pipes using the same brass or plastic fittings (PPSU) and a plastic sleeve (PVDF).
PE-RT/AL pipes contain a layer of flexible aluminum, butt welded using a laser. Thanks to it, the pipes are protected against diffusion of oxygen into the installation. The aluminum layer also reduces the phenomenon of excessive elongation of the pipeline under the influence of temperature. KAN-therm ultraLINE pipes with an aluminum layer, also known as composite pipes, use the plastic properties of the aluminum layer embedded in the pipe wall structure. It is thanks to it that pipes can be freely formed and shaped, and laying pipelines is easy and convenient. A specially selected aluminum alloy is characterized by high flexibility, which is why ultraLINE pipes are unique and can be flared during the connection assembly process. The aluminum layer is joined by butt laser welding and reduces the phenomenon of oxygen penetration into the interior of the installation, acts as an EVOH anti-diffusion shield. This part of the pipe structure is also responsible for limiting the phenomenon of thermal elongation. Therefore, this type of pipes is perfect for surface-mounted installations.
Pipes with an aluminum layer are also supplied with thermal insulation.
PEXC and PERT pipes with an EVOH layer, in the ultraLINE system, are available in the diameter range of 14-20 mm. The five-layer 5L construction guarantees the highest degree of protection of the EVOH anti-diffusion shield by placing it inside the pipe wall. An efficient and undamaged EVOH cover effectively protects the installation against the penetration of oxygen into its interior, protecting it against the corrosion process. The EVOH (ethylene vinyl alcohol) anti-diffusion coating meets the requirements of DIN 4726.
All ultraLINE pipes, i.e. with an EVOH layer as well as with an aluminum layer, are also supplied in a thermally insulated version, thanks to which we will not lose valuable time on the construction site putting the lagging on the pipeline.
