IZOLANIT is a ready-to-use one-component elastic sealing compound intended for waterproofing mineral substrates (concrete, plaster) and plasterboards, for walls and floors in rooms exposed to temporary dampness (bathrooms, laundries, showers, kitchens) applied ceramic tiles.
IZOLANITE is a mixture of high-quality polymer binder, mineral fillers and modifying agents. After drying, the applied mass is impermeable to water. Fills hairline cracks in the substrate. It has excellent adhesion to most materials. It reduces the risk of cracks in cladding materials, resulting from different thermal expansion of the substrate and cladding, e.g. ceramic tiles.
SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION:
Apply on a clean, load-bearing substrate, free from dust, dirt, paint residues and degreased. Fill cracks and cavities. Before applying the mass, the substrate should be primed with SIL-GRUNT or BIEL-GRUNT by Pigment. Strengthen the corners and joints with a sealing tape, melting it into IZOLANIT in accordance with the tape manufacturer's instructions.
Before use, mix the contents of the package thoroughly. Then apply the mass on the prepared surface with a brush or roller in two layers. The first layer should be rubbed firmly into the substrate with a brush. Apply the second layer with a brush or roller after the previous one is dry (approx. 3 hours). Fresh plaster and cement floors can be sealed after at least 28 days from the time of application. High humidity and lowered temperature extend the drying time of the sealing compound.
Protect the surfaces with ISOLANITE applied against mechanical damage and water until completely dry. Clean tools with water immediately after finishing work. Fix the ceramic tiles after at least 24 hours. from applying the last layer. The tile adhesive should comply with the applicable Polish Standard.
REMARKS:
Store the product in closed original containers. Before putting the room into operation, ventilate the room until the odor disappears.
Keep away from children. Avoid skin and eye contamination. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. Do not mix with other products.
