SILICONE RENDER IBBTHERM ST300 - a decorative and protective render for interior and exterior use, for thin-layer plastering on typical construction substrates such as concrete, cement plaster, and cement-lime plaster. The render creates a weather-resistant, flexible coating with high water vapor permeability. The render exhibits high hydrophobicity, resulting in strong resistance to algae and fungi. The product is ready to use and available in a wide range of colors. Available in hundreds of different colors at IBB branches. SILICONE RENDER IBBTHERM ST300 silicone render should not be used on horizontal or slightly inclined surfaces exposed to moisture, prolonged exposure to water or snow, or on substrates unprotected against capillary action, salt efflorescence, or plastics.
USE AND SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
In building insulation systems, the render is applied to the primed surface after the adhesive and filler mortar has completely dried, which in summer, in dry weather, at a temperature of approximately +20°C and relative humidity of approximately 55%, occurs after approximately 3 days. Typical building substrates should be dry, clean, even, sound, degreased, and compact. A 3-week curing period should be observed for new cement plasters.
PRIMING:
24 hours before applying the SILICONE RENDER IBBTHERM ST300 silicone render, prime the surfaces to be plastered with a silicone primer in a color that matches the color of the render, undiluted.
APPLICATION:
Immediately before using the render, mix it thoroughly with a low-speed basket mixer, taking care not to foam the contents of the package. Apply the mixture to the grain thickness using a stainless steel trowel, then smooth it with a plastic trowel. Smooth the render with a solid texture using circular movements. To avoid joint marks, it is necessary to create separate architectural elements in a single work cycle using the so-called "sandwich" method. "Wet on wet." Rendering work should not be carried out at temperatures below +7°C, on walls exposed to strong sunlight, or in windy conditions. To avoid potential differences in color shade, individual walls should be finished with material from the same production batch and the consumption limits specified on the packaging should be observed. Lower consumption may lead to "perforation," which may result in the plaster separating from the reinforcing layer. It is recommended to use protective mesh or foil during plastering and drying.
DRYING:
At 20°C and 55% relative humidity, the coating dries in approximately 24 hours. Full hardening occurs after approximately 3 days. Low temperatures and increased humidity extend the drying time, even by several days. Protect the plaster from precipitation until completely dry.
CONSUMPTION:
Depends on the grain size, evenness of the substrate, and temperature during application, according to the table on the packaging.
